Frequently asked questions
How much does lip filler cost?
A typical US session costs $500 to $1,500+. One syringe of a major brand is usually $650 to $950 at average prices. Use the calculator on the home page for your brand, amount and city.
How much is half a syringe of lip filler?
Proportionally about $250 to $475, but many clinics price a 0.5 mL treatment as a set 'mini lip' package rather than exactly half the syringe price. Confirm the clinic's pricing and touch-up policy at consultation.
How long does lip filler last?
Most lip fillers last 6 to 12 months. Juvéderm Volbella can last up to 12 to 18 months. Individual results vary with product, placement and metabolism.
Which lip filler brand is cheapest?
On per-syringe range, Versa starts lowest at $500–$800 per syringe, followed by Restylane-L at $600–$850. Cheapest is not automatically best for your goals — product choice is a clinical decision for you and your injector.
Why is lip filler more expensive in NYC and LA?
Higher clinic overhead and demand. Premium metros price roughly 30% above the US average; smaller markets about 10% below. See the cost-by-city page for 10 metros compared.
Is lip filler covered by insurance?
Cosmetic lip filler is generally not covered by health insurance, as it is an elective aesthetic treatment. Confirm with your insurer if you believe a medical indication applies.
Does LipFillerCost give medical advice?
No. This site provides cost estimates for planning only. It does not assess suitability, recommend products or replace a consultation. Lip filler should only be performed by licensed injectors.
Is my data stored when I use the calculator?
